We made up our minds to join up with PGR 10 minutes after our limo pulled into the air strip to bring our son home. Already the streets had about 20 bikes and 2 support trucks and it was pouring rain. The group stood by respectfully but when we went out to thank them they greated us with open arms. We lost our son PFC Jeffrey A. Avery of the 571st MP CO out of Fort Lewis,WA April 23,2007 at 1:45 PM Iraq time. He was 19 years old at the time 58 days before his 20th birthday.
