I joined this organization when I found out a friend of mine's cousin was killed in Iraq. I heard the service was going to be targeted by UGs. I was dumbstruck!
I could not stand by idle and let that happen, so I took my flag and went to the funeral. It was February and fairly cold, there were only 15-20 of us and 5 of them, but I could not let their act of ignorance pass unanswered.
I am a Veteran's daughter and I know when and how to do the right thing.
