I say HEY to all of my fellow PGR brothers and sisters. My name is Randy Clark. I live in Merritt Island, FL (3 miles from Kennedy Space Center for those of you who have never heard of Merritt Island). I am originally from Central Ohio, and have lived in Florida for the last 15 years. I am a Regular Army Vet (enlisted), also an 18-month Vietnam Vet – Combat Engineers (Water Dogs). My “Nam-name,” RedCee, was given to me by my fellow soldiers to help distinguish me from the other lead climber on the construction barge (41st PC Company, Long-Bihn), who was also a red head. So he was Red and I was RedCee – the red head whose last name was Clark. I’ve got a great wife and 6 fantastic kids (all grown) – 5 daughters and 1 son, and 7 and ½ grandbabies (that ½ is due at the end of May). I’m very proud of my family. While they all serve the community as parents and patriots, I’ve got airmen and sailors too. My wife is an Air Force Vet (Captain – 10yrs.), and still works for the Air Force launching rockets. My next to youngest daughter is a Navy MP/MA, stationed in Sicily. My son is a Navy Nuclear Engineer, currently aboard the carrier Lincoln out of Washington State. And wouldn’t you know, my newest son-in-law, who just happened to be the recruiter for both of my Navy kids, just married my oldest daughter. My wife teases him about getting his quota from this family! But he is great too – 12 years in the Navy as a Damage Control Petty Officer, 1st Class. So that about does it. I’ve been everything from an oil field roughneck to a long-haul trucker, and many other jobs in between. Now I’m a non-working vet – that is to say I’m finally “retired” (VA & SSI disabled). I hope to meet you all soon, but I hope and pray not too often. Your new PGR Brother, Red-c- Nam Vet All gave some, but some gave all.
