 My wife and I have had many relatives fight for our freedoms, all the way back to the revolutionary war. When we heard of the PG, we immediately joined. We have been saddened to see how many young men our son's age are coming home for final goodbyes. Our son tried to join the Air Force but was denied due to his history of asthma. On one hand we know he wanted to serve, even if it meant paying the ultimate price, but on the other hand our selfish sides are glad he is safe at home.
God bless those who chose to serve, and Blessed be those who held their children one more time before sending them to do what many won't do.
Thank God for the PG, and we hope blessings rain down on those who stand up, respect and console the families as they say good-bye.
