I am the daughter of a paratrooper who was killed in Vietnam. I am also the daughter of the man I proudly call "Dad," a Korean War Veteran who served with 3rd DIV/65th Infantry and adopted me when I was 4 months old. As such, I am doubly blessed. With the blood of a paratrooper influenced by the heart of a warrior, what child could ask for more? I am here for my family who has had at least one or more members in every conflict from WWII to the present day. I am here for my friends in the Province, in the Mountains, in the Sky and under the Sea. I am here for my adopted Marine SSP for our second year together. I am here for Dad's dark days in the "Crimson Imjin" that he thinks I don't know about - but I do...and I am here for those Paratroopers who gave me my roots so I would finally try out my wings...and then patiently taught me to fly. These men not only defended me - they defined me. I hope to honor them by standing for their breathren as they once stood for me.
