I am a IT professional currently working in the aluminum diecast industry. I maintain and develop our manufacturing software as well as provide maintenance on all computer systems and networks in the plant I work for.
In 2004, my youngest son joined the US Marine Corps and has since spent his first tour in Ramadi, Iraq with the 3/7 as an infantry Marine. With the heartache and pride of handing my son over to the US Marine Corps, I started writing a blog dedicated to our Military and all Blue Star Mothers everywhere. It was featured as MSN Best of Spaces in November of 2005 and continues to get a lot of hits as people stop by to wish my son and all military families the best.
I bought my first brand new Harley Davidson sportser in 2005 also so even though I have been a member of ABATE for many years I am now a full-fledged member of H.O.G.s also! Riding helps me to deal with the stress of having my son underfire in hostile lands.
