Bio:
I'm an Army Brat, Navy Widow, Air Force Veteran, Mother-in-law to a former Marine Captain, and cousin to a retired Coast Guard Master Petty Officer, so I think I have all branches of the service covered in my family. I'm very proud of my three-war-veteran Dad, who is an octogenerian, and was in WWII, Korean Conflict (Support in Japan), and did two tours in Vietnam, being involved in conflicts such as Khe Sahn, and unlike the illustrious John Kerry, did not get a scratch in the 26 years he served his country. Those of you who have visited Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and have seen the helicopter sitting in front of the Headquarters building, my Dad flew that helicopter in Vietnam. Cute story behind that particular bird, but I'm proud nonetheless of my father, in case you cannot tell. I'm the mother of a daughter (soon to be 30) and a son (soon to be 24), and the grandmother of two grandsons, all of which think I've flipped my lid when I learned how to ride a motorcycle. I'm also a very proud member of The Shiloh Riders Association (www.shiloh-riders.com), who put on a rather large Toy Run each year for underpriviledged children and teenagers. I'm very proud to be a member of the Patriot Guard Riders, and proud to be a Ride Captain for the Knoxville, Tennessee Area. I've met some of you, and look forward to meeting more of you.
