 49 y/o single Female who spent over 25 years in the US Army, both AD and on the Reserve side. If you didn't get it by the screen name, I left the military with the rank of MSG/E8. Not too shabby for a naive little country girl from TN.
I am a new rider,, just bought a 2006 Honda Shadow Aero 750 for my birthday this month, and I plan on making as many rides with this organization as possible.
My youngest son just graduated from HS on 7 June 06 and went to the Army Recruiting office that afternoon. He is now in basic training at Ft Benning GA. He will be going to AIT at Ft Gordon to become an IT Specialist and then back to Benning for Airborne School Hooaah... That's my baby.. following in his parents footsteps.
I am honored to be allowed to become a part of this organization. I was just a young girl during Vietnam, but I did have an older brother who served there as a Marine. He was never his old self after that. I didn't understand then, but now I do.. I am so sorry he died before I could tell him how proud I was of him. Samuel Jared was his name, and if anyone here was stationed with him I would love to talk with you.
