 USAF veteran (1974-80). Divorced, father of three. Been there, done that, got a whole lot of t-shirts! Moved back home to SC in 2003 after spending thirty years in Northern California, but recently moved to New Mexico to take a new job. My father retired from the Air Force in 1973 while stationed in Charleston, SC, and still lives in Summerville. Damn-near the whole family has been in the service at one time or another and I lost a cousin to the Viet Cong in 1970 (Sgt. Jack R Gilbert, USMC). We Gilberts just don't seem to be any good at anything else! I was born in a GI hospital and I'll go to my grave as a GI. God bless our troops, everywhere!
