Born in Germany to an American Airman, raised in San Diego, CA I'm a 40-something year-old female who taught myself to ride on a Honda Shadow 600 in February, 2005. In February of 2006, I traded up for an 1100 V-Star. It's my primary mode of transportation and I can't stay off it. I prefer the backroads but ride the highways on occasion, mostly to and from work.
I'm a DOD Civilian, former Air Force C-130 mechanic now living in the Fort Leonard Wood area. I track the training status of U.S. Army Basic Trainees here at Fort Leonard Wood and take great pride in my Soldiers. I cry with joy at their graduations, and with sorrow when I learn any troop has died defending my freedoms and those of my fellow human beings, for they are ALL my Troops. I pray each morning for their safe and speedy return home. God, please keep them.
