Bio, where do I start. Born 5/17/51 in Galesburg Illinois. Grade school, high school, and some college. Served 1970-1976 1344th Trans. Co. Honorable Dis. Worked in the family business , Auto body repair for 27 years then bought out my father in law and owned my own shop for 7 years. Got a offer to work in the insurance business as a estimator/auditor and did that for almost 5 years. Got the bad news in April of 2004. Cancer. Multiple Melanoma or bone marrow cancer. Fought that for almost two years. Chemo, blood transfusions, Pills, Pills and more Pills. Stem cell transplant in May of 2005, and so far so good. Have some trouble with week bones in my back causing compression fractures. Got the neurosurgeon in Peoria working on that problem. That’s the health issues, good news is I can still ride motorcycles. Have had a love for bikes since I was knee high to my daddy’s waist. Started out with a Honda 90 back in the late 60’s and have had everything in-between Hodaka to Harley Davidson. I think the PGR is a wonderful organization. Am a member of the American legion and it fit right in with that as well.
