Bio:
My first job was a deckhand on a tug boat at a Navy Weapons Station, moving barges loaded with weapons to ships--okay I sat on SIDEWINDERS. Also, moved the ships in and out of port. This was at the end of Vietnam and was very demanding. I was 17, just out of High School when I joined. After active duty I then worked full-time for the Army National Guard. I almost became an Officer, but well stopped when I became the only “female” type. While in I flew right seat in a OV-1 Mohawk -- took a lot of “pictures”. Also, I literally hung out of Hueys and took pictures. I really enjoyed the time 10 years--did not like Ft Stewart’s sand. I also worked full-time for the Army National Guard. During this time was in the Navy Reserves twice. Obtained a Special Background Top Secret clearance so was able to work in some interesting places. I ended up with 4 Honorable Discharges--Navy, Navy Reserves (2) and Army National Guard-Flight Ops SSG. Mother of 18 yr old twin girls. They currently live with their-father in Woodstock, GA.
