Bio:
I spent 9 1/2 years in the Navy Nuclear Power Program as a Machinist Mate, Engineering Laboratory Technician, and eventually Engineering Watch Supervisor. Major duty stations included USS Edenton (ATS-1), USS Virginia (CGN-38) and NPTU Ballston Spa. I've been married to Pam, my high school sweetheart and best girl for 25 years now. Her nickname is Double D. We have 3 children; Josh 25, Emily 19 and Kyle 18. My father and his friends raced and recreationally rode dirt bikes and I just had to be a part of it. After considerable whining and begging, I got my first bike, a Honda 50 mini-bike when I was 6 years old. I've loved motorcycles and riding ever since. It seems half my childhood was spent racing and recreationally riding dirt bikes. One of my parents first dates was on a 1954 Harley KHK. Dad's on a Goldwing now, but he and Mom still ride. I guess its in the blood. Currently, there are 5 bikes in the garage. A 2007 Ultra Classic has recently become my favorite. I also have a pair of Yamaha Roadstars. One is a black 2004 set up for long hauls. THe other is a 2001 basketcase I resurrected as a solo custom hotrod for local fun and games. There's 1982 Honda CB750K thats been restored back to original condition in there too. I am currently working on a 1978 Yamaha xs650 bobber build.
