Bio:
Angelo J. Mileto For the last 4 years, I have been working for the Department of Defense's IT agency, DISA, in Falls Church, VA. After being away from home (Baltimore) since 1979, it was good to get back home and be around family again. The previous 13 years of my professional career have been spent as a Technical Support Manager for Citibank, a Data Center Operations Manager for Solo Serve and a Senior Systems Analyst for International Bank of Commerce. In my spare time I also did independent consulting for small to medium businesses. I have managed to become quite proficient at troubleshooting desktop and mainframe computer hardware and software as well as an adept programmer in severl languages on different platforms to include Macintosh, PC, UNIX, DEC VAX, DEC Alpha and IBM mainframes. I have also developed some skills in process and project management and have even ventured into the arena of training and/or tutoring - although not professionally - both on computer systems and programs as well as certain math disciplines. Prior to that, I served 10.5 years in the USAF as an Avionics Electronics technician on various fighter planes both here in the US and overseas. I currently have an AAS in Avionics Electronics from the University of Maryland European Division. I've managed to fill my leisure time with adventures from dog sledding in Alaska to becoming a licensed glider pilot while in England. The rest of the time is spent - when not doing homework that is - administering a couple of web sites, playing games on the PS2 and/or computer, riding my motorcycle, playing golf or skiing to name just a few. Currently, I'm working on getting my BS in CIS, which will basically say I know what I've been doing for the last 16 years and then to continue on towards ??????? Haven't figured that one out yet. Finally, I have been working since April 2007 to rejoin the service. I have been preliminarily accepted as a Warrant Officer Candidate in the MDNG and am currently working through the physical requirements. Well, to keep this under one page, I guess that's about it. Lucky for you that I provided the abridged version.
