A true 'hi-tech redneck' - I love anything computer-related, and work as a graphic design artist and web designer; I sub at my kids' high school, and serve on our town's council too. I live in south-central Alabama, with my husband and our two youngest kids, who still live at home. My husband delivers mail, and does bookkeeping and taxes in his spare time.
My older son is serving in the Army - he's back stateside after serving in Germany and Iraq. My step-daughter's husband recently signed up with the Army, too, and is now stateside as well. I guess you could say I come from a semi-military background: my father-in-law and one of my grandfathers served in WW2, an uncle served in Viet Nam, I've got a brother, a cousin, 3 brothers-in-law, and numerous other relatives and friends who have served during war and peacetime.
I also have an older daughter and older stepson, as well as nine of the cutest, smartest, sweetest grandkids anyone could ask for (I'm not prejudiced a bit! LOL). Grand #10 will arrive sometime in September or early October.
I'm proud of my family and the things they've done to serve our country, and I'm glad I live in a country where you've got the freedom not to stand when we pledge allegiance to the flag, or sing the national anthem, but as for me, let me tell you, I'm going to stand...
My husband and I are very involved in our church, and we both love to ride. He rides a 2000 Roadstar 1600, and I have a '01 V-Star 1100 (my first bike).
