 USMC 1979 through 1986. I made the rank of Staff Sergeant, Nettie made Sergeant. Went in when it was calm, got out before the stuff really hit the fan. Good timing I guess. Worse thing that happened was Beirut, Lebanon and Granada. Best thing was Nettie and I meeting. Been married to that lovely lady 28 years now!!! Love what the PGR is doing and we are both proud to be members! My son is currently on active duty, USS Pasadena Submarine. Run Deep, Run Silent! Doing the things that cannot be spoken of. He is our Hero!
