 I served in the Nav and spent 6 months in the Persian Gulf on-board the USS Independence CV-62 (got my Shellback on that cruise!) The Indy was good to us and I'm proud to be a part of her Decommission Crew in '98. (I also spent some time onboard the USS Constellation) I'm a lifetime member of the VFW and recently joined the American Legion Riders. Those few years I spent in were also the best years of my life. Comradery was as I will always remember it, a true trust in my fellow man.
I have worked with some of my local Fire & Police dept's by assisting with highway vehicular accidents, but driving 18-wheels now has kept me busy and my random acts of kindness have shifted to other interests such as helping my brethrens of war.
I have a wonderful family I also am proud to be a part of. They are good to me and I love them dearly.
.....more than anything, though ... I just wanna ride!
