Born and raised in the Coachella Valley, CA. Joined the AF right out of high school. I was an aircraft mechanic for 6 years, then a flight engineer for 14 more years. Retired from the AF and hired by Northwest Airlines, pilot instructor. Married 33 years to Sharon. We have three grown sons. Gene, the oldest lives in Maricopa, AZ. Dan, our middle son is living near Springfield, IL. Our youngest, Chris is in the AF stationed in Omaha, NE. He volunteered as the initial cadre on MC-12 and deployment in Iraq. Chris and his spouse have two children.
My intentions will be to retire no later than 60 years old. My hopes and dreams during retirement are to be available for our grandchildren, honor our serviceman when possible, and travel via Goldwing and see parts of the USA I've never seen. I also want to be healthy. What more can a guy want?
