 I spent 16 years in the United States Marine Corps. Am a disabled veteran, and proud to have served along side of some of the best Americans in the history of this Nation.
Currently, I am the President of the Veterans Commemoration Association, the administrators of the Albany, Oregon, Veterans Day Parade (one of the largest west of the Mississippi River). Have served in this capacity for the past eleven years. Have had the great honor of meeting a whole lot of America's Unsung Heros!
Do not ride a bike, but drive a Ford Explorer with magnetic door signs for Veterans Commemoration Association.
My husband and my son are both bagpipers and donate their services for any of the servicemember's funerals or burials that are within commuting distance (usually 150 miles one way weather permitting).
My son, Matthew, is a proud Marine, following in his mother and father's footsteps...that would be the YELLOW FOOTPRINTS!!
