Big rock, belvedere.) There will be 2 of us riding down from lasalle peru on fri. morning around that time if interested in joining you can call 815-326-1198 (Rodney) We plan on heading out of here at 3:00 a.m or so
Ironman,
It looks like the earliest I can get to Peru would be about 0345. It  will be about 1 hr 15 min from Belvedere to Peru. I work nights, I am leaving work as early as I can. It will be a very long night/day for me, lol. If 0345 would be ok to meet up just pop in a reply and I will call you later today, after I get my beauty nap.

If anyone wants to meet up coming out of the Chicago area Friday morning, how about the rest area on I57 just south of the Manhattan/Monee exit at 5am? It's 183 miles from that exit to Shumway, so about 3hrs cruise (at about 75mph). Puts us down there at 8am...enough time for breakfast at the Flying J. If not, we'll see you down there.  Everyone ride safe...John P.
p.s. I'll be on a black Road Glide..I'll also have ax extra 3x5 flag if anyone needs one.

To those meeting at the Flying J on 111 I propose leaving at 0600, instead of 0630. This would allow us to meet up w/ fellow riders at the Effingham "J"  and have some time to grab a bite to eat beforehand. Might be a long day if the idgits show up...

Tim, There are two of us meeting at the House of Pancakes in Terre Haute on Friday. It is north of I-70, at the US 41 N, exit a few blocks if you would like to join us. We are meeting at 7 AM for grub before we take off. We plan to leave at 8 AM. It would be a good place for you to take a break.

Change of schedule. Meet time is now 8 AM if anyone is interested. Forgot about the time difference.

Taz,

I reckon that we're gonna miss hooking up with ya, we'll be coming through about the time that you'll be chowing down. We'll be proud to stand with ya in Effingham. See ya there.

Pete,
I plan on sticking to original time of around 7am departure and having breakfast before I leave.
Others have already made plans. Map Quest has the time from Pontoon Beach to Effingham at 1hr 29min. Should have no proble making 9am briefing. If you (and anyone else)leave early have a good ride and see you at the BP Plaza on route 33. I need to get that food in before I hit the road.

St. Louis and Metro East PGR members,
In light of the above information I think we need to leave Flying J in Pontoon Beach  at Hwy 111
no later then 0630. (I'm sure Dave is talking about the flying J in Effingham for 0700.)
I will be at the J at Hwy 111 around 0545 for breakfast.

mojo57 - I am the newbie from the meeting Wednesday night. I was hoping to call off work Friday and ride along but sadly, scheduling won't allow it. My thoughts and prayers to CWO Donaldson's family. Stay safe.

I had hoped to be there to honor this great Illinois hero today, but business did not allow that. I do want the family to know I am flying my flag here in Colfax Il at half - staff today in honor Chief Warrent Officer Donaldson. He will be remembered. Joe T.

I just got back from my first ride. I was so impressed with how everything turned out. A quick estimate of PGR was 250 patriots strong. WOW, that is impressive. I hope I never have to do this again, but I will be there if needed. Thank you to all that were involved, it was a very heart warming experience.
May GOD be with the family of CWO2 Chris Donaldson, our prayers are with you.

AWESOME!!!!!!! this was my first mission also, the helo fly over was impressive 3 CH-47 Chinooks I took a couple pictures of them flying over. It was a great turnout, I was to thank Q-Ball for giving me a lift since my bike broke down this morning, I think the family was very impressed and I think everyone did a GREAT job, I too would rather not have to do this but you can count on me if needed again. I don't think anyone even noticed the protesters..LOL I want to personally thank everyone who attended and also those who could not make it that truely wanted to be there. the PGR are a great bunch of caring people.
