I wanted to express my gratitude to everyone that will be at Pfc. Tina M. Priest's
funeral. Tina is our niece and it means so much to us that she will be honored.
Tina was a beautiful, vibrant young woman that touched the hearts of many. She was
dedicated to defending her country and took pride in being an American Soldier.
Thanks for all you do. May those who are coming to Smithville on Thursday, have a
safe trip.

Gonna see if I can get off work, I'll be staying with my inlaws in Paige (N of Bastrop) wednesday night. My wife went to school with her sister tiffany so she really wants me to go.  Just waiting the final details.

If I can't make it, prayers to the family.

got somebody to cover me at work! I'll be there at the VFW nice and early! Checking weather.com and it said that it shouldn't be that bad, small chance of rain, but I should be outta abilene after it comes.

Weather Alert Houston

A cold front will be rolling through Harris County tomorrow morning and may produce some bad thunder boomers, hail and winds, Blue Northern conditions. This will pass but it may not be until later in the morning.

This is a major concern to me and our Safety Office Kaoz. Please check the weather before you leave in the morning and know your ridding ablity. If the weather is bad CAGE IT. There is no shame in taking the cage! Our objective is to honor Pfc. Tina M. Priest and to do so you must arrive alive.

Those of yall who are going to meet me at Denny's be ready to ride out at 8am sharp. It should be around a 30-45 minute ride from the Denny's. We are doing the speed limit. There is an Exxon next to the Denny's. So be gassed and ready to ride!

I'm going to try to get someone to cover tomorrow's shift for me.

If I can, I'll meet you at Denny's.  This will be my first mission, glad to be aboard.

WireManTX --- I have the final thumbs up from my company to ride tomorrow (they graciously gave me the entire day off (nice working for a company full of military veterans...the CEO was a Captain in the US Army and my boss is a retired Warrant Officer).

Don't know if I'll have much of an appetite in the morning, but I'll be there early enough for a couple of cups of joe anyways.
