31 May 2006 9:50 PM Alert
Here are the finalized staging areas for Saturday's mission.

Due to a lack of RC's in the northern half of the state, we have been unable to establish any staging areas north of the Twin Cities. We are asking that anyone wishing to come down from the North meet up at one of the staging locations in the Twin Cities metro area. If some riders want to start their own staging area and ride to one of these locations as a group we encourage you to do so.

A couple of reminders:
- Please bring a 3' X 5' US Flag and pole.
- Try to bring at least one or two bottles of water and something to eat for yourself as we will be on a long mission and standing out in the sun for several hours.
- Please listen to your Ride Captains and follow their lead. They know where to go and what to do.

Thanks again to everyone for their support and we will see you Saturday morning!

Hi, we live in ST Paul

Firehorse , Were you planning on driving back to St Paul on Friday from Fargo, or stay over

someplace for the Saturday funeral?  We are planning a trip to go to both funerals.

I'll be heading back home to St. Paul after the Fargo funeral.  My significant other cannot make the Friday funeral, but we are both going on Saturday.  I plan to leave my house in West St. Paul between 5:45am and 6am Friday - if you want to hook up, let me know.

I have room if someone wants to ride with me (up to 3 adults relativly comfy), I can not tow...

If no one rides in the back seat I will be able to transport flags and flag poles...

Final PCI being conducted in Lakeville...

I call your attention to an article in Thursdays (6-1) Star Tribune Region section on Cpl. Posivio's funeral where the pukes are interviewed, the new state law discussed, yet no mention of the PGR or the 30-1 ratio of PGR members to pukes is mentioned.  I sent a note to George suggesting the PGR cadre might contact the articles originator and correct this.

Hello Radman
Sorry to say but the Star Tribune has a history of not reporting on things done for the troops. March 23, 2003 I helped orgainize a Support our troops rally at the steps of the Capital, we had 20,000 people there. Over at the Cathedral there was a anti war protest with 500 people, the next day the anti's were page 1 we were page 19
Bill Saulsbury is a good reporter for the Star, so he would be a good contact for George.
Regardless if you are for or against the war, we all should be for our troops.

PGR's

In regards to recent newspaper articles regarding Sherburn. Please keep in mind that the press is primarily interested in what sells advertisements.  The bad and the ugly sells. We are neither and that is a good thing,

At the end of the day you as a PGR member can stand tall knowing that you have helped lessen the bourdon of a family that is saying good bye to their son or daughter, and that the memory, and the sacrifice of a fallen service member has been honored.

Please don't get defensive, understand the motivations of the press, and in the end don't worry about it... Don’t worry about Phelps and WBC. Know that he is there trying to get under your skin and if you allow him to do so you have failed all of us.

Maintain focus on our mission this saturday which is about honor and respect for Lance Corporal Robert G. Posivio. Nothing more.

Remember together we make the difference.

Jim
