PostCoastie bring a 3x5 flag and pole if at all possible, wear whatever your comfortable in.
Being a 3rd generation Texan I was taught to wear a tie and sport coat when attending a funeral, but luckily a good friend tossed in an extra leather jacket and vest for me to wear on my first mission. Now I wear my old biker jacket, vest and jeans since I cage it to missions. Most members ride bikes and wear full leathers (chaps, jacket, and vests). Just wear whatever you'll be comfortable in and don't worry about anyone else. But again if you can please bring a 3x5 flag and pole, if you can't, that's okay too.
At least that's my opinion for what it's worth.
Remember all we're there for, is to honor the fallen hero and show respect to his family and community.

| ----------UPDATE ------We should probably think about meeting at 9:30 atThe Reserve Center addy is 819 Summit ave. west., Ladysmith 54848. the H.S. addy is 1700 Edgewood. I was just informed last night that the processional will arrive at the H.S. at 10:45 and it would be nice if we had the rows of flags set by then. we'll have to stage up and move out pretty quick, so the earlier you get to the meeting spot, the better. |

I had the honor of serving with CSM Vacho in the 397th Engineer Batalion. Seargent Major Vacho, your son is an American hero and, even though praise and prayer will never bring him back, it will allow him to remain forever in our hearts. God bless you Nathan. Standing by in Barron. |

Nemo, Sruddy and/or others,
I'm planning to ride up Monday afternoon with a friend from Portage. We have accommodations near Ladysmith but unfortunately no extra space. We plan to meet in Baraboo at the Kwik Trip at Hwy 33 and Hwy 12 probably around 6:00 pm. We'll head up Hwy 12 to I-90/94 and then towards Eau Claire. If anyone wants to meet in Baraboo or elsewhere along the way, let me know. I'll firm up the time for Baraboo and post it sometime this weekend. Sounds like a good plan.
My only problem is that I have no idea when I will be able to set out Monday afternoon. My wife's stress test starts at noon. If I can hit the road by 4 I could easily meet you by 6. I actually want to get going as soon as possible.
Now that I am staying in Eau Claire instead of Sheldon, the slab is getting more attractive although I have been known to take 12 as far as I could.
If I am not there by 6 just take off and I will see you Tuesday.
Nemo
