Gunny Fry, Gunny Martone and SFC Jessen were all three EOD NCO brothers of mine. The EOD community has been particularly hard hit this and last year considering the very small number of us there are in the world. These three purposely approached known IEDs in an effort to save lives. They are true American heros, as are every single service member who is, or has served this great country.

Semper Fi & Hooah!

I hope to be at Gunny Fry's funeral. I'll be at Fort Hood so I'll be close to start with. See you all there.

HOZER and SPARSLEY,

The functionality that allows us to send email to you through your PGR profiles is not working so I'm contacting you both through this thread.  Please email me directly (bluhog@sbcglobal.net) if you would like to be included on our contact list.  The portion of the list that I maintain includes the western side of the metroplex and western north central Texas.

And if there are others from north central Texas who'd like to be on the list, please contact me if you're (more or less) west or northwest of the Tarrant/Dallas country line.  If you're east/northeast, contact Bear (ronnyawtry@sbcglobal.net).  For further east/northeast, contact Streaker (gdsmith3rd@yahoo.com).

There's a good chance I"ll be able to attend this one, and will be my first. Am looking forward to honoring a fallen brother on one of these missions. Hopefully I'm not attending a 3 yr old that day! I'm in Duncan, Ok. Would like to ride down with someone. Anyone out there from my neck of the woods?
