For those coming up Tuesday. The American Legion on West Lake Drive serves a good inexpensive breakfast from 6:00 to 10:00 am.
The M&H gas station at the corner of Washington Avenue and Will Street gives a three cent/gallon discount for cash on gas sales. They have all three grades.
There is a Casey's convenience store 1 block north of Grace Lutheran Church at the junction of State Highway 34 and Roosevelt Avenue.
I have found it quicker to take Highway 10 from Clear Lake to Detroit Lakes than following the interstate to Fergus Falls.

To the family and friends of Cpl Linden my heart goes out to you. One is to many and all are so young. Take comfort in the knowledge that there are many out there that are thinking of you, and are keeping you in their prayers. God Speed, Cpl Linden.

I was very honored to help escort Cpl. Linden from Fargo to his home in Detroit Lakes. My bike will be in the shop this coming Wednesday. Right now I'm planning on getting off work at 0800 and driving my car to DL. I do have and can bring my single place (for big bikes) trailer if needed. If someone wants to come along in the car please e-mail me at prometheusmc@702com.net by noon on tuesday.

For anyone coming to Detroit Lakes on tuesday evening, and needs rooms, Days Inn in Fergus Falls, exit 54, has given a single rate of 45.99 and double Bed rate of 55.99 for PG riders. there is gas and food, & entertainment available at that exit. Fergus is 45 miles from Detroit Lakes.

Flagwaver, that is a very generous offer. I was able to get a room in Detroit Lakes, but please pass along my thanks and acknowledgement to your family. It is precisely the spirit of honor and giving that they show that makes the Patriot Guard and makes them one of us. It always soothes me to know that in times of anger and enmity such as we live in, even amongst our own countrymen, that such people are still out there in large numbers. It helps me believe that the great mass of strength and love of country is largely silent until called upon by a higher calling than petty bickering.

Those riding Wednesday morning, be careful. Supposed to be scattered T-storms in the morning tapering off about the time we'll be staging - if the weather channel website is to be believed (and it's not stellar on reliability).

Just a head's up.

Change of plans. I was indeed able to get Wednesday off of work.
I will be leaving work tomorrow at 2:30 and will catch up with the Eden Prairie group around Clear Lake.

Godspeed everyone, we'll see you in DL.

Cpl. Linden, it will be an honor to ride for you to pay my respects to you and your family. Words cannot express the debt of gratitude owed to you by the people of this nation. Surely the Lord reserves a special place in His Kingdom for true heoes like you.

To Marshall area PGR,

It looks like all of the riders are going up tues night. The forecast looks like possible showers Wed. AM. That with the numerous amounts of construction going on changes my plans to Tuesday afternoon as well. I plan on leaving Marshall around 1500 hrs. If anyone is intrested please email me at mn.pgr.marshallrc@gmail.com and we can get together. I will be going a little out of the way. I need to swing past Willmar on the way. Ride Safe and God Speed.

Opey - we will be going by cage Wed. morn. from Fargo.
We can follow and/or carry things, if need be.

If there's anyone with an empty passenger seat for the procession, I would sure appreciate it!
