I am so proud to be a part of the PGR and last night only goes to show why.

The descriptions written by Greg B. and Joe A. brought tears to my eyes as I read them. The video clip from WEEK was very moving. I'm only disappointed with myself for not making the escort.

My hat is off to all who made the mission - PGR and all the others. I am proud to be an American and proud to be a biker and you all are reasons why.

Thank you Caleb for sacrificing your all for the freedoms we embrace.

Yes.  Road Ranger truck stop.  Sunrise on our town's "Flags of Freedom" seems like a great way to start a PGR mission.  They always have the coffee hot too.  Hope to see you there.

For a video of the WEEK 25 television coverage of last night's Lufkin escort check out www.week.com "A Hero Returns".

I will NOT let work get in the way of this mission like the last two weeks! The outstanding support of the people in the Galesburg- Knoxville area commands my support also. I will be leaving out of the Elgin area Friday am. I'm guessing most people aroung here will be doing 88 or 80. Maybe a meeting point cound be rt 64 & 59 (mcdonalds) with a shot down 59 to either interstate. Between our reason for riding and my "understanding" with the troopers, I think we could make good time on the road. Anyone interseted, let me know and we can firm up a departure time. My thoughts to the Lufkin family and God bless Caleb.

Just got back from vacation and I am ready to continue to honor my fellow freedom fighters.

Anyone got any idea how far Knoxville is from Chicago or about how long it should take from the south suburbs? Thanks. Harley Arnie

For anyone from north central Illinois, some of us have a rally point in Dixon, Il at the DnD truck stop at the intersection of IL26 and I88 for the funeral on Friday at 5:15am. Then on to Princeton to hook up with a group at the Road Ranger truck stop. Yea, it's early, but we are learning to try and be ahead of schedule than behind.

Mike Bowman

Wow, every time I plan to ride with you we get earlier and earlier!!   (JokING)

Mike, I plan to meet up with you in Dixion. I will leave Belvidere at 4am for the short 1 hr ride. What time do we plan on leaving Dixion??

Max,

Could you post some directions in town for staging area that you'd recommend, always easier with some landmarks or best routes when not familiar wtih the area and limited time. Appreciate it.

My prayers go out to the family left behind. Your son, brother, and friend now belong to the Lord’s Army. He will be there to guide his fellow soldiers while they sleep at night. When they cry or ask for help in fear, he will be one of the Angels that pull them out of their dark times. He is honored.

It was an honor for my daughter and I, last night to stand in the parking lot at the staging point in Park Ridge, to pay respects to Caleb and his family. Thank you all the members of the PGR who provided escort for our fallen hero. Thanks to everyone that will be there tomorrow and on Friday.

Rest in peace dear Sapper.

Seems like every other note proposes an earlier departure time. I'm starting to think I should have left already and it's only Wednesday afternoon. See you in Dixon at 0515 Friday.

Thank you Pfc. Lufkin for defending my family's freedom.

Respectfully,

Northern,

I ride out of Elgin as well.  I'm going to try to meet up with a group out of Dixon that are meeting at the Rt 26 exit of I-88.  They are looking at a rather early start time of 5:15 AM so will probably have to leave Elgin by 4AM.  Email me at pbrindle@medicalmatch.org if you want to meet here in Elgin and head out in the dark.

When you come into Galesburg onto Henderson Street, you have see a Staples, Then a large Car lot, Then A Wal-Mart and beside the Wal-Mart is a Hy Vee Grocery store. Our staging area is in the rear of the Wal-Mart.  Any other questions please send me a email or on here.
