It was an honor to be allowed to attend in honor of LCpl. Ivan I. Wilson. Thank you, LCpl. Wilson. You will forever be remembered as a Great American Hero.

Thank you to those who volunteered to ride ahead and assist with bike parking at the cemetery: Mark, Woodie, Scottie, Ron, Al, Craig and Don. Great job!

I was with the group that witnessed the emergency response teams at Roy’s accident. The Calistoga Fire Dept., Lake County EMS, CHP and others (including a helicopter) were all on scene and provided expert care for our friend. Thanks to you all!

Mission Complete: On Thursday and Saturday this past week, the PGR was honored to Escort LCPL Ivan Wilson from the Sacramento Airport to his home, and his final resting place, in Lake County. Roughly 100 bikes on both days, plus Blue Star and Gold Star families, and hundreds of neighbors and friends, came together to pay our final respects. The outpouring of sympathy and respect was beautiful. The pall bearers, all current or former Marines, all friends and/or fellow unit members, were obviously respectful of the this Fallen Hero. Our deepest feelings to the family of this Marine, and our thanks to him for his sacrifice - allowing the rest of us to enjoy the freedom's we have.
Semper Fidelis.

A quick word of thanks to the tireless Sgt. Major (Doug Lyvere) for doing another excellent job of herding us all in the right direction.

Thanks for handling the early morning issues with your usual diplomacy and respect.

You are a significant asset to California's PGR.

Well Done Doug.
