My heart aches for the family of MSG Mitchell W. Young. He was strong for us, and now we will be strong for him. Are there any more details yet on the services for MSG Young? If at all possible, I plan to ride up from Fayetteville, GA.

To the Family of MSG Young, our thoughts will continue to remain with you during the many days ahead, and the difficulties you will face. May you find strength in the memory of your loved one.

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. I honor you, and pray that our children will learn to do the same throughout coming generations. God bless your family, and may they keep their memories alive and rejoice in the life of a hero.

I too am a Clayton County Gold Star Family having lost Blake on 15-March 2007 so I can truthfully say "I know what you are going through." My heart goes out to your family because I know your grief. There is nothing like it. The PGR was there for Blake and they will be there for Mitchell. Our sons now stand together as only true comrades can do. Your family is in our prayers and through the PGR, Mitchell will always be remembered as a true American hero.

For some time now I have been recieving the mission announcements...I always read them and say a silent prayer for the heros and thier loved ones. Today's email with a upcoming confirmed mission hit too close to home. Mitchell Young is married to my aunt and what a wonderful man and hero he was...what a awesome dude and always with a smile. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers. I look forward to seeing you there in honor of my uncle and his family! We lost a good one thats for sure! God bless all the men and woman who are fighting and have fought the battles for us all!
