| Thanks for the details Mac. I'll be there bright and early, probably my wife also. Like I mentioned earlier, we are only 40 miles away, so if there is anything we can help with, just ask and we will do our best. |

Ken and anyone else here in Central Wisconsin,
I will be on the ramp of Hwy 107, exit 156, for Hwy 29 at 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday waiting. This ramp/exit is around 12 miles west of Wausau, I-39/Hwy 51 for your info... Another thing, there is major road construction around the I-39/Hwy 29 intersection so drive very defensively. Expect delays and watch for people doing stupid things as they try to work their way through the construction area. My cell number is 715-573-5444 for your info.
If anyone else from this area wants to ride along let me know and we can make arrangements to meet in Mosinee someplace and then head up to Marathon City via CTH B.
Ride safe,
Jack |

My condolences to the family of Sgt. Vacho, he is a hero deserving of the respect of all Americans.
I've never served in the military in any capacity but I feel that jioning the Patriot Guard and showing support and respect for these soldiers family's is the least I could do.
If anyone else is going up the day before as I am I have a friend in Bruce, WI (7mi west of Ladysmith) who owns a hotel and will give a discount to Guard members. Gateway Lodge 1-715-868-2015.
See you There

Hey RetroDude:
Unless something comes up with work, etc., I'll be joining you Tuesday morning, from Ramsey. As it so happens, my Mom was born and raised in Weyehaueser, WI. We'll be going through there (and past the cemetery where all her family is buried) on the way. |

After looking at my mapping program I have changed the time that I will be at the Country Kitchen, I-94, Exit 143, in Tomah to 0630. I will be going up I-94 to HWY 27 and then north to Ladysmith. I will leave the Country Kitchen at around 0645. Anyone want to ride with?

Ole,
Mapquest estimates 48 minutes to Turtle Lake. Probably 15 minutes to St. Croix Falls. We depart Lindstrom at 8:00. How many scoots?? I'm guessing 20 to 40 (but, that's just a guess!!)

Posted By ProudUSArmyWife on 05/10/2006 1:35 PM My condolances to the Vacho family. My prayers are with them.
If it weren't that Ladysmith is 5.5 hrs from where I live. I would stand by. It is a bit to far for me, with my car (it needs a new clutch) I thought it was gonna be Janesville. But that's ok, my thoughts are with you guys! Fly a flag for me! If you can safely make it to anywhere along hwy 61 or 27, you are more than welcome to ride with us from there, and be assured safely returned to your vehicle for the return trip home.
