Will someone please but out the correct staging area and time for Monday. Do I understand that we will NOT be staging at the funeral home BUT will stage at the church at 0800? Things are getting confusing. Tom S.

This gives us 1 hour to make 21 mile/30min run in the middle of rush hour. Depending on who shows, lane-splitting may be an option.

Wouldn't it still be appropriate for a small contingent of local PGR to meet at the mortuary to escort Pfc. Meyer to the church?  Say 6-10 riders, with the rest of us meeting at the church?

It seems like there is some confusion here. I just looked at the original post which was updated on Feb. 9th after the 1st mission was completed. I suggest that everyone do the same (go to the original post) and then if there is still confusion, maybe the Ride Captain could make a post explaining exactly what we will be doing.

This one gets to me in a big way. If you can read these and keep a dry eye you are a better man than I. To think that anyone could protest this brave young man just kills me. In the words of a personal hero of mine "God forgive them for they know not what they do". A medical expense may keep me from riding on this, I may not have the gas money to go. Know for sure I will be there in spirit and will be on my knees for you my brothers, sisters and the family of Pfc. Meyer. Thank you for your unselfish sacrfice, see you soon brother.

I will be at My Church, ( for the past 32 years) at 0700, I am going to attempt to hold all of the parking on the west side of Center St. directly across from the church. I have been told to expect motor officers from the Orange Police Dept to be on hand. I will also have copies of the House of Representives Bill, H.R. 5037, The Respect for Fallen Heros Act that was passed almost two years ago. The bill states that protestors are not allowed within 500 feet of a military funeral or service, sixty minutes before and after the event. We need a major turnout for the family. Fortunately we dont get protestors very often here in So. Cal. but when we do, we need a major showing to let these sick individuals know that we care about the families of the fallen and will do everything we can within the law to protect them from their hate. 81 bikes on Saturday was a great turnout, I sincerely pray that we can add to that number tomorrow. Take care, God Bless, and ride safe.

This is a MUST DO mission. Yes, W%#@ will have to wait. I feel a sickness coming...
John, the meeting place is the same as the one for the Snowball Express, right? We'll see you there.
BTW I do not split lanes...but we can use the 1 1/2 lane (motorcycle lane) if necessary.
Anyone from the Rancho Cucamonga/Fontana area that would like to meet, I'll be at the USA Gas station on Baseline, off the 15 Fwy.
Meeting: 0600.
KSU: 0615 sharp.
Remember: morning traffic will be "wonderful" so lets give ourselves plenty of time!

Frank see you in the AM. John and the others just to let you know on the 91 fwy, the 3+ lane is open to motorcycles. Tried to get several of you to follow me on Sat but didn't get it done. Missed all that traffic at the scene of the TC.

I received e-mail from State said to go to the church with explanation of reason.

I agree with you quiteman. However, I am green and have to assume the RC know what they are doing.

Hope we get one concise set of instructions posted.
