PFC. Cory C. Kosters you have touched the lives you were meant to touch and completed your assigned duties here on earth when God called you home. I hope your family will take comfort in knowing you are watching over them from heaven. Thank you for your service to a Great Nation! Now is our time to Honor an American Hero.
“We will never forget”

We live in a very troubled world and tend to forget that no democracy in human history has ever lasted as long as the United States. If you've grown up with it, you expect it, and it's easily forgotten just what price has been paid for our complacency. When measured against all the recorded history of civilization, we should realize and be thankful that every day we have is a miracle ... a miracle that the members of our Armed Forces have lived and died to make possible. Through several wars, since the birth of our nation, they are responsible for America's remaining the "Land of the Free " and the "Home of the Brave."

“These are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.” Thomas Paine

Thank you all for showing up at the airport today for PFC Kosters arrival.  I was the pilot of the jet that brought him home.  My thought and prayers are with Cory's family during this most difficult time.  Thank you also to the members that helped lift our lift off the airplane as well.  It was a great help and helped speed up the ceremony for the family.  Thank you also for the job you are all doing.  God bless you all.  It was by far the most amount of PGR members I have seen in my 32 fallen hero flights.~Tom

Final Itinerary for Pfc. Cory Kosters, 19, The Woodlands, Texas March 19, 2007 Monday 10:00

This is the final itinerary for the services for Pfc Cory Koster, who gave all for you and me. This mission is a GO all contacts have been made. The Kosters family is one of our Blue Star families that we work very closely with on our missions, they are part of our family. Let's help provide a fitting send off for this American Hero.

This will be posted on the PGR web site on the mission tread as we now have permission to release the itinerary.

Flag Officer Fisher will have our 200+ flags at this mission. We will set up our flag line at the church before the services. Once the services have started we will move our flags to Houston National Cemetery (HNC). Flag bikes (bikes with large flags) will remain at the church and will be in the procession from the church to HNC. A forward element of non flag bikes will be lead by PGR Ride Captain Larry Ormond to set up our flag line before the procession arrives at the hemi circle at HNC. We may need Road Guards for this group of bike if we can not get a police escort. Flag Bike Riders in the procession will join the flag line after the procession arrives at HNC.

Please join us as we Stand Tall & Silent honoring Pfc Kosters, his family and community. Bring a friend with you who has never attended a PGR mission, they will thank you afterwards.

Service Date: Monday March 19th 10:00

Staging Location:
Alden Bridge Shopping Center
7800 Research Forest Dr.,
The Woodlands, Tx. 77382
This is at the corner of Research Forest and Kuykendahl (this address does come up on map quest)

Directions:

From north or south exit on I-45 exit Research Forest Dr (Map Quest shows this as exit number 76). Research Forest Dr is just north of the Woodlands Mall and South of the 242 (College Park Drive). Head west on Research Forest Dr approximately 3 miles to corner of Research Forest Dr and Kuykendahl. Alden Bridge Shopping Center is at this corner.

Staging Time:

08:00-08:40

Riders Meeting & prayer 8:40

KSU 8:50

We will travel 1.1 miles to the church and park at:
Children's World Learning Center, 7253 E. Capstone Circle this is behind the church and there is a patch from the parking lot to the church. The church parking lot is not very big, parking at the center ensures we do not take up spaces from the guest and will be easier for our forward element to leave during the services.

The Woodlands, TX 77381

Burial Services with full military honor:
Houston National Cemetery

10410 Veterans Memorial Drive

Weather: Beautiful, low in the morning of 62 with a high in the afternoon of 76. No rain, breezy.

For newbies:
What do I wear?: Our only requirement is that you wear them, leather is normally the flavor of the day.

What to bring?: Water and a snack, we will have some down time to rest after the service starts. We plan on a forward element moving to the cemetery with the flags once the service starts. This will be a long day.

What do I do?: Follow our lead, you will do fine, just bring a heart full of respect for this fallen hero.

Iron horses if you have them, cages are always welcomed.

Please follow this tread on the PGR web site and remain flexible (Semper Gumby):

Thank you for all you do for our fallen heroes and the PGR.

PFC Cory C. Kosters was among the "Greatest Generation" of soldiers who fought to defend and protect our great United States of America from terrorism across the globe.  Our Nation will forever owe a debt to this man who fought for freedom in this Global War On Terrorism (GWOT).

Thank you to his family for inviting us to Honor and show our respect for this fallen hero and his family.

May our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, bless, keep, and comfort the family and friends of Mr. Ellenburger during this sorrowful time.

We just escorted his comrade, SSG Justin M. Estes, to his final resting place this week as well.
These two soldiers are loved by many and typify true heroism.

Rest easy, your mission is complete, we'll take it from here.

On behalf of myself, and the S.E.Texas PGR Ride Captain team; I would like to thank all of our dedicated riders who were able to make it to the services of Cory C. Kosters at Crossroads Baptist Church yesterday.
Your flexibility and dedication to honoring a family and their community during our mission shows what each of you is made of; beginning with a heart of gold and the spirit of eagles.

Cory’s mother Senta, his father Marlon, and his brother Kevin have repeatedly asked me to express their deep appreciation to all of our Patriot Guard Riders for their selfless service to our country, and to honor the service and sacrifice of their son and brother. Please know that were it possible, each of you would have already received their hugs of thanks and their message of “well done” and “thank you for what you are doing”.

This same message of deep appreciation and thanks was also echoed to me repeatedly from every member of the Crossroads Baptist Church that I, as part of our PGR team, came in contact with!
The support for the PGR and our mission among the fellowship of this church was completely amazing – in the many opportunities that I have had to serve to honor our fallen soldiers in widely different areas of the state; I truly have to say that I’ve never experienced such overwhelming support for our cause, and such open and friendly encouragement. There is no doubt in my mind that this dedicated and loving congregation will continue to envelope the Kosters family during the painful days and weeks ahead.

I’d also like to thank the many fine officers from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department along with many other jurisdictions, and thank the dedicated firefighters from several departments for your service to honor this fallen hero and for your show of respect for the family and community.

Not to be left out – thank you to all of the members of the public for your open and patriotic displays of support that we, in the forward contingent, had the opportunity to see as we made our way to Houston National Cemetery during the funeral services.

Each and every one of you makes me so very proud to be an American, and demonstrates that we, as Americans, can always be counted on to come together to respectfully show our appreciation for our men and women in the armed services and their loved ones during their time of greatest need.
It’s clear – the silent majority will no longer remain silent when it comes to supporting our troops and their families.

Thank you all.
