STAND DOWN - NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE - 02/10/2007

The family was thankful and impressed with the out pouring of love and support from the PGR, however, they want tonight and tomorrow to be private and for just the family.  CAO Farrar just called me with the family's wishes, I advised him we would do only what they wanted, but that we would be there with them in Spirit............  CAO Farrar, Doc, asked me to pass on to all that he was very proud of how we stand in support, and if he could he would have us present tomorrow, but it's not about him or us, it's about the Family and Cpl. Richard, Richey, Quill.....

God Bless and Protect this Family during the next couple of days, and comfort them in the days ahead..............

I respect the families wishes for a stand down. The emotions associated with the events of Thursday night and again Saturday are overwhelming.

May God bless and pray for the family of Cpl. Richey Quill.

It was nothing short of an honor to stand with my brother and sister PGR members to honor one of America's hero's Thursday night. Richards sacrifice will never be forgotten. I will remember him as long as the good Lord keeps me here on earth. As you prepare for the services tomorrow know that we all are there with you in spirit. God Bless you all.
