Anyone who needs a place to stay or leave a vehicle please pm me...
I tried the pm thing and don't think I know how it works on this forum. I am coming in from friendswood early thursday, is there a meeting spot to leave the truck and trailer or is your place close enough?

Gonna see if I can get off work, I'll be staying with my inlaws in Paige (N of Bastrop) wednesday night. My wife went to school with her sister tiffany so she really wants me to go.  Just waiting the final details.

If I can't make it, prayers to the family.

We are to stage at the VFW hall. Big parking lot and I am sure they won't be real busy at 0900. However, last funeral I went to in Smithville, everyone went to the VFW hall afterwards. But there is a lot of room. Also across the street is the American Legion (I believe).

Those of yall who are going to meet me at Denny's be ready to ride out at 8am sharp. It should be around a 30-45 minute ride from the Denny's. We are doing the speed limit. There is an Exxon next to the Denny's. So be gassed and ready to ride!

so it will probably be ok to stick the pick up and trailer (5x10) at the vfw and ride in the group with the bikes?

Folks, it's been brought to my attention by a North Texas Ride Captain that this VFW parking lot is caliche (rock/gravel) so be VERY careful when pulling in or leaving. Again, keep your eyes locked on this forum and to those of you who've sent me your South/Central Texas contact info, I'll be shooting out an email to you as soon as I have the final itenerary.

I'm going to do my best to try to run to Smithville early Wednesday morning for final recon of the area and I'll report back as soon as I can Wednesday evening. Things are rocking along at a fast pace so stay tuned.

Thank you SO much for what you're doing. PGR Texas ROCKS!
