All those attending the escort mission sound off to get a count estimate.
Also, is there a plan for leaving Fargo on Saturday for the mission? |

| To the family and friends of SSG Hanson - Please know that you have my deepest and heartfelt sympathy. My son is in Iraq, and was on the same mission with SSG Hanson. When I told my own young sargeant that his mother and I would be escorting Josh from the airport to Pelican Rapids, and that we would be standing guard at his services, he most heartily approved. I continue to be humbled by the sacrifices that our soldiers make on our behalves. We will be deeply honored to ride escort and guard for SSG Hanson. |

We will have a chase vehicle and water available, also...just look for the gold Explorer w/ big flags. Thank you to Don for the use of his trailer and to Lindsay's Ecowater in Moorhead for the water donation. I do not know whether or not Jeff and Don will have riding waivers available to sign, so I will also have 2 clipboards at the Explorer.
If you need to reach me prior to tomorrow night, my cell is: 218-329-9597. Cherié
Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the honor mission, as this coming weekend is a drill weekend for me. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Josh's family and friends, as well as those who are able to attend! Ride safely!

To the family and loved ones of SSG Joshua Hanson - Thank you for allowing the PGR to show the honor and respect that Joshua so rightly has earned. Your loss is also our loss - a great man who gave his all so that we may continue to enjoy the freedoms that this Great Country was built upon. He is a TRUE AMERICAN HERO. May God comfort and keep you during these trying times and in the days ahead.
To my PGR brothers and sisters - I regret that I am unable to attend this mission due to commitments made for my son's 13th birthday on 9/9. Ride safe and THANK YOU for doing the right thing! |

FYI: To all PGR that are assisting with escort ride for SSG Hanson.
Update on I-29 construction:
Good news for those that will be coming from the south on I-29, exit #67 (19th Ave N) is now open northbound only. Head east to Dakota Drive and take a left to Hector airport.
For those coming in from the north on I-29, the exit is still closed off. You will need to turn off at exit #69 (County Rd 20) and head south on Hwy 81, which will take you directly to Dakota Dr.
You could also head farther south to exit#66 (12th Ave N) and head east, turn north on 18th st which will take you to 19th ave n and then turn left to get to Dakota Drive.
Closest gas stations to Hector Airport:
Exit #66, 12th ave n has Cenex on the west side of I-29 and Stamart Travel center which is on the east side.
Stop and Go at university Dr and 19th ave n.
BP at corner of 10th st n and 19th ave n.
There is a Cenex at Harwood for those riding in from the north.
You will also find many fast food places on 19th ave n. east of the airport and a couple at 12 th ave n. exit.
Someone asked about the "crossover road" at Hector Airport, for those that haven't been there, when you head north on Dakota Drive heading to the terminal there will be an east-west street directly south of the long term parking lot.
Hope this helps, any questions feel free to email a question or better yet just give me a call at 701-261-5577. Take Care and ride safe, Tim Moen |

| My father, my fiance, and I will be at the escort tonight. (2 bikes total) We are from Pelican Rapids. My fiance graduated high school with Josh and I had the pleasure of getting to know him in high school and the years after. This will be a great honor for our family and friends. My father is also a Vietnam Vet. We will not be on the honor ride for Saturday as we will be attending the funeral. See everyone tonight, and "Thank you"-you guys (and gals) do an amazing thing for our heros. |
