Thank you to the Linden family for raising such a great son whose focus seems genuine from what I know of him. Also, thank you to Jeff Anderson Alexandria RC, Monica Mead whose help is always 150% and also to all North Dakota PGR members who escorted Troy home, and not leastly to ALL LEO that helped put all this together, what a great cooperative effort made by all.

Please remember that as in all Patriot Guard Events we need to sign the waivers before we head out on the mission.
Jim and Gigi will have the waivers for you to sign.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Cpl. Linden.  Unfortunatly, I will not be able to attend this mission due to prior commitments.  I regret not being able to be there to honor this fine young man, but my thoughts will be with you all.  Ride safe and God bless.

Dragonman Dan...
Holiday at 4:00pm, Tuesday, in Big Lake should work out fine for me! As far as stops go, you lead and stop whenever you want to. I, too, have a bum leg. We'll have to compare!  I don't have a room as I am planning on stay at my folks lake home 30 miles south of DL. I'll be taking the Perham exit. If you want, you can call me at work 0600 to 1430 tomorrow, 651 717-6656. This # is also available to anyone else who wants to meet up at the Holiday gas station at 4:00pm, Tuesday afternoon, for the ride to Detroit Lakes.
If anyone has questions about Detroit Lakes, please feel free to ask.

I know this route is a little out of the way, however this keeps us on semi major roads which should provide safe shoulders should someone need to pull off in an emergency.

Bring a 3x5 foot flag and pole if at all possible.

Remember to dress appropriately for the weather, forecast is HOT, pack rain gear just in case, bring as much WATER as possible and something to EAT. We must be self-sufficient.

For the morning ride from the metro it looks like there's construction a few places on I94. I'm planning on using Highway 10. (All the projects open up the lanes by mid-morning, so this won't be a problem for people going up the afternoon before, according to the MN DOT website).

So my plan is I35W to US 10 all the way in, starting at about 0500.  (The issue is one of the construction zones brings 94 down to one lane at Weaver Lake Road, so the normal 94 to Clearwater to US 10 route is also out.) If anyone wants to link up, email raske@usinternet.com
