Hey Skittles and NE/NW sector -

Thanks for the tip on the motel.  I'll be going  there on Sunday evening instead of leaving from 35 & hwy. 97 in Forest Lake on Monday morning.  FYI the telephone number you listed skittles came up as a disconnected number.  I called 411 and was given 320-222-2699.  The woman I talked to said she was next door at the AmericInn and taking reservations for the Cosy Inn.  See all in Willmar Monday.  Thanks for contacting me Mike.

I am sorry about giving out the wrong number; I transposed them it should be 320-231-3714.

There is a motel in Willmar that will give us a discounted rated if you would prefer to head to Willmar on Sunday. The name of the motel is, Cozy Inn and the rate are $30 for on queen and $40 for two doubles. Phone number is 320-321-3714. Tell then that you are with the PGR Riders

Everyone attending the service on Monday, please remember to bring a pop can or something to place under your kickstand, as the blacktop at the Willmar Civic Center is extremely soft.

I parked there on Saturday and sank almost 2 inches into the blacktop.

Again, bring something to place under your kickstands on Monday!

I will be at the mission on Monday, however, the chicken bike's engine blew up on the way home from Willmar Saturday so I will be forced to "cage" it. Thank goodness for chaps as my chaps were soaked with hot antifreeze/water and oil.

Hope to see everyone at the Willmar High School for the final staging Monday morning.

My condolences to Spc. Miller's widow, family, friends and Troops. Your husband's and son's duty and death do NOT go unnoticed. Many others have written all the words I can use, but their words are mine, as well. We have numerous unsung, unknown HEROES in our society, and so many of them leave us too soon.

There is a group of us leaving the Big Lake/Monticello area from the Holiday Station in Big Lake at 0600 hours. ANYONE from this area that wants to join us, please come with. I'll be at the station about 0545 hours, leave at 0600, stop in Monticello for more riders, then on to Willmar. We'll stop in Litchfield for fuel, then proceed to the Civic Center. It should take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. As others have mentioned, PLEASE bring water, and fruit, sandwich, energy bars, etc., and SUNSCREEN. The forcast for tomorrow is clear sky, which means elevated UV index.

Sad to say that we are without a bike as of yesterday when the throttle wire decided to take a crap an hour from home. I am happy to say that it took this crap just outside a Harley Davidson dealer. Better yet, I think I have my husband convinced to buy for comfort, not just looks! I need a bigger seat! lol

Either way, we are without a bike for tomorrow's mission ride in Willmar. We will be forced to pass on this mission. Our thoughts will be with the Miller family and our PGR family. May you all have a safe ride!

My condolences to the family, friends, and fellow troops of Sgt. Kyle R. Miller.  My heart goes out to all of you.  America has lost a great American. Rest in peace Sgt.  Miller.

I will be leaving Casey's gas station in Richmond at about 0700.  They have 92 octane non-oxy if any one needs to fuel on the way.  Would be happy to ride with ya.

To the family of Kyle:

Just a note to let you know you are in my thoughts and prayers today (and you have been since I heard about your loss).  Always remember your son is very special and he is a hero.  Thank God there are young people like him to help make this world a better place.

Your sacrifice will not be forgotten.
