**************************RIDE ITINERARY FROM THE NORTH**************************

AS PAPY HAS MENTIONED THE WEATHER IS GOING TO PLAY A BIG PART IN HOW WE GET TO THIS MISSION.
AS OF 7PM. THE CLOUD COVER WAS APPROCHING WILDWOOD AND THE LEADING EDGE OF RAIN WAS APPROCHING CAPE MAY

YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO MAKE YOUR OWN CALL IN THE MORNING IF YOU RIDE OR CAGE
THERE IS NO ESCORT FOR THIS MISSION SO IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE EITHER WAY
THE IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU TURN OUT TO PAY RESPECTS TO THIS YOUNG AMERICAN HERO

EITHER WAY DON'T FORGET YOUR RAIN GEAR

see you down there Ray, I cant meet on Rt23

Usually at a time like this I struggle for words to comfort a friend who has suffered a loss. The right words don’t often come, but if accompanied by the right sentiment they can be soothing. But I have learned over time that the best comfort at a time like this comes from those who watch over us. My beliefs allow me to be comforted by a certainty that I am watched over by those who have gone before me.

It looks like most of the really nasty stuff will be taking place weatherwise from mid to late afternoon on. Our mission should be completed with a few showers and maybe a little wind, nothing we can't handle. So grab your rain gear and meet us as we honor the next American hero, SPC. Michael L. Gonzalez. I will be leaving Bergen County Harley at 0815 and will meet up with Ray at Brookdale.

************************MISSION COMPLETE*****************************

Impending tropical storms, thretening wind and rain, but you didn't care. The family of SPC. Gonzalez could not have been more appreciative of your efforts to come out and honor their son. Thank you to our brothers from the Red Knights and to our new friends from the American Legion Riders who also came out to join us on our ride to show our respect and honor for SPC. Gonzalez. Thanks also to RC Ray Smith for stepping up as our lead ride captain for the day, and to Don Klein for being our local ride captain for the day, and for his efforts in planning the ride and performing the necessary recon prior to the mission. Again, thank you to everyone who ventured out to honor this American hero.

I second what Eric said.

Sandy, Jim and the other Arlington PGR's warmly welcomed us and showed us how they show honor and respect in Arlington. Thank you very much
