Our heart felt condolences to the Wilson family and friends in the loss of Ivan. Thank you for his service to this great country. Our prayers go out to God for you in this time of loss. Ivan served to give us the freedom we now enjoy so much and for that he is one of the GREAT AMERICAN HEROS of the land. God bless your family and friends. Wish I could have shaken his hand and told him thank you myself. God tells us that “Greater love hath no man than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13) As Christ our Lord laid down His life for us that believe in Him for salvation, so your love one has laid down his life for us for our freedom. This act has made him a Super Hero in my heart and I thank-you deeply for this sacrifice made for our freedoms. I pray that God will now bless your lives and help you see how great a thing this is which your loved one has done. The FALLEN MILITARY MEMBER has shown this country his greatest love for country and friends

Psalms 37:5

I suppose, in a way, this has become part of my soul. It is a symbol of my life. Whatever I have done that really matters, I've done wearing it. When the time comes, it will be in this that I journey forth. What greater honor could come to an American, and a soldier?

Thank you for your dedication. My son served with Ivan in Now Zad, Afghanistan and was present when he was KIA my son is still in Afghanistan. Ivan's Mom is a strong person and desrves to bring her son home with out disruption she is afraid of the WBC and their threats of protesting. They have posted their protest and it has made it's way to her some how. I know that you will honor this Marine and prevent these people from doing their deed. I cannot thank you enough for your dedication and honor. Thank you, Kim Jeff's wife

Thanks for all the support. It means a lot to me and everyone in town. Regretfully, I wont be able to make it on the 14th (Have to get my TB test read otherwise i'm out of a job.) But, not Hell or high water is gonna keep me from part 2 on Saturday. I hope we get lots of support on this one. Word has spread through town that WBC. After hearing that, everyone I know says that we are welcome with open arms. Thanks again for doing this and letting me be part of such a noble cause. I will ride up either thursday (After mission part 1 is already underway ) or Friday. Carl, I would love to join you on Saturday, but I need to get up there ASAP to arrange some things with some friends. See everyone there. Keep the rubber side down.

Pfc Wilson, you are truly appreciated. I know you have been welcomed as a hero at heaven's gates by all our fallen warriors who have gone before you. Rest easy now Ivan, and know that you will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your service and sacrifice in defending and protecting our freedoms. As a nation we mourn your loss, and we will remember you always as a true American hero. To the family, I offer my prayers and support. I understand a little of what you are going through-my son, a Marine LCpl, was killed in Iraq. I pray wonderful memories of your dear warrior help eventually to ease the pain you endure today. Your hero will never be forgotten-he leaves a legacy of honor and courage that few will ever achieve. God bless you. Julie Francis, Matt's Mom

Please accept my most sincere prayers and deepest sympathies for the loss of your loved one. I pray that the Lord Jesus is there with you to hold you and to give you His Peace and Comfort during this time of such sorrow.

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth , nor any other created thing , shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:38-39.

God Bless all of you for coming to our community. This hero and his family deserve much respect and honor...and those of us here will not tolerate such antics, that tends to be the mission of WBC.

My husband and I will bring ice chests with extra bottled water, it will be a very warm day. If there is anything we can do to support all of you, please let us know.

Ride safe, and know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

My prayers to the Family,I will not be able to stand the Flag line. With this severe Flu it happens
to get worse with heat.
On a personal note: I know that all riders think that they are doing right by sharing their thoughts and prayers on this thread.BUT,some things should NOT be posted on here.Remember that old NAVY saying, back in WWII,
" Loose Lips Sink Ships" Well intel on WBC should have never been posted on this thread or any other thread. That kind of
posting does more harm than good.Allways remember there is a chain of command, over the last year i've noticed the
influx of new members.CHAIN OF COMMAND!!! if ya don't know find out. keep your mouth shut, pass it on to the right people and not here. The family reads these threads, remember that.

Sad to hear one of our own was injured in an accident after the mission.
With well over 100 bikes there, and the roads surrounding Clear Lake, having an incident is not surprising.
Best wishes to Roy and his family and remember we are here for you just the same as we are for family of our military honorees.

My Navy vet bro-in-law, a Lake County resident, came with his 16-year old daughter to show respect, and Chris was so touched he promises he'll join us again when possible. Connie had the honor of riding from the church to the cemetery as my passenger in the procession.
The Saturday mission had another amazing turnout to show respect and honor for our young Marine and his family. The name Lcpl Ivan Wilson will not be forgotten.

As much as I tried to get a good group shot, that was nearly impossible.
(The video I did from Hwy 53... and thanks to those who gave a thumbs up... wasn't decent)
Here is a photo at the briefing before we left for the church, and the group grew larger than this with the addition of Lake's VVMC riders and many other locals who joined in.

As a Lake County resident, I would once again like to thank the PGR for coming to our county and protecting the family of our local hero, and giving Ivan the honorable procession he earned and deserved.

Our prayers are with the injured PGR, may he soon recover.
