Final Inspection

The soldier stood and faced God,
Which must always come to pass.
He hoped his shoes were shining.

To the Family of SSgt. Strickland, our thoughts will continue to remain with you during the many days ahead, and the difficulties you will face. May you find strength in the memory of your loved one.

Thank you for the mission you gave to your life in protecting our freedoms, and striving to give others, theirs. The lives of you and the men and women who have gone before you are raised high, and not given in vain. I honor you, and pray that our children will learn to do the same throughout coming generations. God bless your family, and may they keep their memories alive and rejoice in the life of a hero.

For those with Base access a Memorial will be held for SSgt Stricklandon on 18 July 2008 on Camp Pendleton, CA at the Marine Memorial Chapel beginning at 1400. All PGR are welcome however you need to have military base access.

I will be going to the Memorial today 18 July. I will be leaving the IE (Starbucks Baseline & I-15, Fontana 13518 Baseline Avenue Fontana, CA) at 1130. Craig, Erin and I had the Honor of attending the Memorial Service for this Marine Warrior yesterday.The base chapel was filled with Marines, Sailors and Friends of the Warrior and his Family. At the conclusion of the Memorial Service, Craig presented a plaque to the young Widow of our Fallen Hero on behalf of the Patriot Guard Family!
