I would like to add...David, you are the most incredible big brother!! You were fighting a battle of your own, to be there for your sister, and help her all the way. She is your Angel, and will always be with you...looking after you. You are a wonderful young man, and I have so much pride and respect for you.

It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Princess Krista. I know how difficult it must be for family and friends to accept this loss. Following is a poem by Helen Steiner-Rice that I hope will bring comfort and solace to her family and friends.

We are so sad when those we love
Are called to live in the home above.
But why should we grieve when they say good-bye
For they go to dwell in the cloudless sky.
For they have but gone to prepare the way.
And we’ll join them again some happy day.

Princess Krista, Thank You for being such an inspiration to all of us. I never had the priviledge of meeting you, but have followed your journey through the PGR and Caringbridge sites. Your story has been a wonderful example of faith, courage, and love. May God bless you, and your family and friends. We are all much richer for knowing about you, and how much you inspired all those that your presence has touched. God has received another precious angel into his care.

May God Bless one and all who are at this moment in time, on their way to the Honor Mission for our little Patriot Guard sister...Princess Krista. Many of us deeply sorrow that her days were so few; but draw comfort from the knowledge that she suffers no more...and now is embraced by eternal love. I regret that I am too far removed to participate in this Honor Mission. My thoughts and prayers are with you all...safe travel all the way.

My condolences t the family of Pricess Krista, Biker Babe. This young lady is a real Queen, as what she was able to accomplish in her short years here on earth, and also to be able to absorb and comprehend what real patriotism is all about. To her parents and friends I would like to relay to you what the bible says, absent from the body and present with the lord, when her body took her last breath her soul and spirit assended to heaven to join JESUS. The bible also says we will be reconizable when we get to heaven, so plan for the future and let GOD be in control, I know we don't understand all the why's that happen but the LORD does things for a reason. I didn't know her personally , but she was a sister to all of us and someone who has touched many lives. As I sat and read about her, I cried like a baby for the loss and will mourn the loss of this ANGEL also. Life is too short, so as we go through life lets try to be like PRINCESS KRISTA BIKER BABE and lets shock the world and say and or do something nice for the next stranger you meet and keep it going. Rest in peace ANGEL we'll try to live up to the standard you've set, May GOD Bless you all

Extended Mission:
Krista's family originally wanted to have a quiet, family only service on Monday. After the great job you all did today, they have extended their invitation to us to Honor Krista on Monday as well. They understand that this is very short notice and that most will not have the time to change their plans, but anyone who can make it would sure be appreciated. We will escort from the Bryant Funeral Home ( 411 Old Town rd., Setauket ) to the Washington Memorial Park Cemetery ( 855 Canal Road, Mount Sinai ).

The Hicksville staging area (Waldbaums shopping center-North Broadway/Route 106/107 - just south of the NSP and the LIE exit 41S) has a KSU time of 09:30 AM .

The Medford staging area (Lowes parking lot - behind 7-11 on route 112 just north of the LIE at exit 64N) has a KSU time of 10:00 AM .

The Final staging area for Monday is the Home Goods shopping center at 4840 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, NY. It's on the north side of route 347 just west of Terryville road. KSU AT 10:40 AM .

Dave and Cheryl,
Since I never had the oppertunity to meet you or Princess Krista, let me say that I am so very sorry for your loss. Let me also quote from a man officiating his own Son-in-Laws funeral, "Folks, Krista cannot come to us, but if we will accept Christ as our Savior, then one day we can go to Krista." I trust that this will somehow be comforting to you knowing that you can see the Princess again one day. She will no longer be sick, ill or hurting, God will take care oif that personally.

God bless you,
