All riders, the roads at the church and at Ft Logan are mostly clear. Watch the I-25 off-ramp heading north, it has a lot of water from the snowmelt, and the right turn onto Yale is slippery....I nearly crashed on it today.

Dennis, Thanks for the road condition report. I was going to drive them today after work, but then saw those dark clouds coming in from the east and decided I would be wasting my time. Anyway, what I told a lot in the few days still stands true. I will be riding unless there is new snow on the roads when I get up tomorrow. Everybody please be safe, and we will see you all tomorrow.

Denver weather report, as of midnight, Feb 1.

We had about 2" of snow on the south side of Denver tonight, so plan your method of transport accordingly.

Thank you to everybody that made either or both parts of this mission, and there were a lot of us. The family asked that I make sure that all know how much they appreciated our presence, and how comforting it was to know we would be there just in case. I hope everybody made it home safe, especially those that rode even with the freezing temps and frozen roads.
