Welcome home. I am the nephew of another MIA (body lost at sea, not recovered) sailor from WWII. I personally know some of the folks involved in these recovery missions and that makes me proud. I don't know if we'll ever find Uncle Richard, but these stories serve as a reminder that we should never give up hope.
Until that day comes, I will silently stand by and cheer for you who get the finalization of the mystery. I am so happy for you. You finally can have the answers. I am also sad for you, because now the hope of a reunion is gone. Only those of us who are MIA family members can ever know what we go through. I can only imagine what my grandmother went through and thought each day.
This story gives me renewed hope. |

| I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the family and friends of this American Hero who stood tall for his homeland in this very sad time in your lives, but remember that you knew a hero first hand while the rest of us just get to hear about their heroic deeds. My prayers are that our GOD may bring peace and comfort to all of you during this tragic time. Please know that not just me , but a country full of people like me owe you a dept that can never be repaid. But please know that your loved one is now serving in the Army of our LORD in heaven, and the LORD said if I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again and recieve you unto myself that where I am there you may be also. Know that it says in the Bible in 2nd Corinthians 5:8 , we are confident I say , willing rather to be absent from the body and present with the LORD. No one can ever say that your loved one isn't a HERO, they were willing to serve that the rest of us may enjoy the freedom we do today, and the sacrifice you and your family have endured so our nation can remain the home of the free because of the brave. We are all brothers and sisters in arms and we don't forget one of our own, rest in peace my comrade, your mission is complete and now it's time for you to rest. May GOD Bless each and everyone of you. |

After all these years your back home; Lt. Norman L. Roggow, Lt. Donald F. Wolfe, Lt. Andrew G. Zissu, CPO. Roland R. Pineau, PO3. Raul A. Guerra, Washington, U.S. Navy Crew / MIA Vietnam War. You were never forgotten by your loved ones or a grateful nation. Welcome home.
Rest Safely and Securely in God's Loving Arms, Norman, Donald, Andrew, Roland & Paul.
Going home, going home, I'm just going home. Quiet-like, slip away- I'll be going home. It's not far, just close by; Jesus is the Door; Work all done, laid aside, Fear and grief no more. Friends are there, waiting now. He is waiting, too. See His smile! See His hand! He will lead me through.
Morning Star lights the way; Restless dream all done; Shadows gone, break of day, Life has just begun. Every tear wiped away, Pain and sickness gone; Wide awake there with Him! Peace goes on and on! Going home, going home, I'll be going home. See the Light! See the Sun! I'm just going home.

These HEROS were lost In a war long ago Now they have come home Our Honor we will show
They went to battle In a far away land They gave their all They made their stand
Honor and respect To them must be paid The PGR will take them Where to rest they will be laid
Look for the FLAGS Listen for the rumble The PGR is coming With hearts oh so humble
We pay great honor To ones so brave Your final return We waited and craved
Honor and respect Is long over due The PGR will be there To show it for you
Welcome home, Warriors A job well done We are still free Because of you, our AMERICAN SONS
