Greg, you have been an inspiration to all who have know you. I did not know, never had the privilege of meeting you but we shared a few emails back and forth. Your family has always had a special place in my heart and I know there will be an empty place in it forever, but I think you also know that they will bond together with the help of their PGR brothers and sisters to say a final farewell. You will not be forgotten, you have touched too many lives for that to ever happen. Your legacy of love, respect, and kindness will be carried on.
Mike, Mom, Dad and family. Please know that I, like so many others who have posted are in shock, numbed as I read the news. Please know that you are in my heart and I pray you will all find the strength that you will need in these trying times as our Father welcomes Greg home to his loving arms. |

I just got home from work and like so many others I am just in total shock. Greg was one of the first PGR members that I met. I don't even remember what mission it was but we had gathered at the truck stop in Princeton waiting to do a late night escort in to the Galesburg area. I remember thinking what a sincere and devoted guy he was. Later meetings only reinforced that thought. My sincerest condolences go out to all of Gregs family and friends. What a tragic loss to everyone that knew him. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I only had the priviledge to know Greg through emails, he was always very pleasant, friendly and fun to converse with. He is a true Patriot and a wonderful person.
To the Bowman Family, please know that a country mourns with you on this day. Please accept my deepest, heartfelt condolences on the loss of our PGR Brother.
Stand down, Greg, your mission is now complete. May you rest in Honored, Eternal Peace. |

We are still in shock over the news of losing our PGR family member and friend. The last time we saw Greg was the Stockton mission . We were blessed to have shared many missions with him. He always carried that big smile on his face, always extended a firm handshake as well as those big hugs. He will be deeply missed and will never be forgotten. We feel honored to have been able to have crossed paths with such a great man. Our hearts and prayers are with the entire Bowman family & friends.

| I'm still in a bit of disbelief - my jaw dropped when I first read the e-mail. Greg was one of the first people we met last year when we joined with the PGR. It was a true pleasure meeting him and his family. My wife and I enjoyed talking to his parents at a particularly long wait for an escort coming through Princeton, and were struck by how much that family has already been through, and how strong they seemed in their love for each other. Our thoughts and respect go out to Greg's memory and to his loved ones. We'll stand the flag line with all of those who felt a sense of brotherhood with Greg. |

THE YOUNG DEAD SOLDIERS DO NOT SPEAK Nevertheless they are heard in the still houses: who has not heard them? They have a silence that speaks for them at night and when the clock counts. They say, We were young. We have died. Remember us. They say, We have done what we could but until it is finished it is not done. They say, We have given our lives but until it is finished no one can know what our lives gave. They say, Our deaths are not ours: they are yours: they will mean what you make them. They say, Whether our lives and our deaths were for peace and a new hope or for nothing we cannot say: it is you who must say this. They say, We leave you our deaths: give them their meaning: given them an end to the war and a true peace: give them a victory that ends the war and a peace afterwards: give them their meaning. We were young, they say. We have died. Remember us.

May our Heavenly Father provide peace that passeth understanding, comfort, courage, strength, and wisdom to all the Bowmans, their friends, and PGR during this time of loss. |

| Cowboy said it. This gives us an "empty feeling". While I did not know Greg, I have made a new friend in Mike and my heart aches for he and the rest of the Bowman family. My prayers will include them and all those in the Patriot Guard family that where close and feel the pain. |

After the shock, disbelief and anger have had their way, we're left with the good memories of Greg. The escorts, the flag lines, and the encouragement he gave all of us as we tried to do our part to show comfort and support to the families of fallen heroes.
Time will heal many of these bad feelings, but time will never erase our memories of the outstanding gentleman that was Greg Bowman.
To all the Bowman family, you are held in our prayers that peace and comfort will allow you to get through these days. We stand ready to stand with all of you.
God bless you all abundantly. Wally and Joyce |

| We often hear "No Boundaries". I never knew Greg, yet feel connected to him through Oscar, Jon and Bogie, and all the N. IL PGR members who spent last Saturday on the Welcome Home escort mission for Bobby LaMarche from IL to MI. It was a beautiful day for Bobby because of you fine IL & WI riders. From that high peak, and now to the low valley of sadness, Greg's death hits home even to those of us who didn't meet him. Brother Greg, may the angels lead you into paradise...I salute you with humility and the greatest respect. The testimony of those who worked with you conveys unanimous admiration. God's Peace be with all the Bowman family. |

My deepest most sincere condolences to Gregs family. I can add nothing that has not already been said. I did not know Greg but I do know that the PGR has suffered a terrible loss. I regret that I did not get an opporunity to meet with him or even email with him. I would be honored to be there for him at this time but am commited to two other missions here on both days of his service. I will say prayers for his family. May they be enlighten to know that Greg is now riding with GOD. May HE watch over his family and hold Greg in HIS loving arms for eternity. GOD BLESS you all.

| Greg, you never knew me nor I knew you, but I know men and women like you. A smile and a kind word, a deed unnoticed by many, yet so needed by a few at a time of loss. These are things that define character, our real spine of life. I thank you for what you have given and hope that I can offer like value to those I meet in their time of need.

| My condolences to the family of Greg Bowman. While I have only been a PGR member for a short time and have not - to the best of my recollection - had any contact with him, I know that Greg's heart, like every other PGR member's, was pure and that he lived his life positively. It will be my honor to stand for him. |

There's a beautiful mountain road just south of Ulundi, South Africa that I drive over twice a week. Each time I do I remember the last time I was home, riding through the hills of southern Wisconsin with a group of good friends on a ride planned and led by Greg. I will always remember that ride, the countless hours standing with him in flag lines, his smile, his friendship, his love for his family, and his dedication to the PGR.
Rest my brother, and know that hundreds of us will be watching over your family.
Respectfully,
John

I feel just awful about this. I only met Greg a time or two - but when I heard his name - I had NO problem remembering exactly who he was. He had a way of really standing out in a crowd, and although I really didn't know him - I feel empty inside this morning. My deepest condolences to his family, and his close friends in the PGR. |
