61 riders from several organizations escorted the body of SSgt. Robb Rolfing from the airport to the funeral home this afternoon.

Here is a picture link of today's escort mission.

Here is an outstanding article/video of the escort mission.

Call your friends and lets have a tremendous turnout.

Just to make sure there are enough flags it will help if you bring a 3 x 5 of your own.

Thanks, Tony

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the Family,Friends and Fellow Soldiers of SSG Robb Rolfing. Our Nation mourns the loss of another great American and Patriot. As a fellow soldier it saddens me to hear of the loss of any military member but I know in my heart that SSG Rolfing was doing what he felt was the "Right Thing To Do". I am proud to have served in our Nations military with such a Dedicated Soldier! I Pray that God will surround you all with the Love and Peace that you need at this difficult time. I will be unable to attend any part of this mission but my thoughts and prayers will be with you all.

We had 19 PGR members there tonight for SSGT. Rob Rolfing's visitation. I was deeply humbled to have a General come up and thank me for all we do. My response was sir, that is the least we can do for you and your soldiers. It was also very impressive to visit with the Spec. Forces Green Beret soldiers. I admire those men and their commitment to their fellow soldiers and our great country. It makes you stop and take inventory of the many great freedoms that we enjoy. What would life be without these men? They are all true heroes. Tommorow is the final day of SSGT. Robb Rolfings final mission, and the beginning of his eternal one. Thank you SSGT. Robb Rolfing.

Final Mission for SSGT. Robb L. Rolfing. We had 83 bikes and I don't know how many people here today. PGR members present from South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska. What an awesome sight and comfort to the family we were to the family and law enforcement with the rumor of the WBC in town. They did not show up. Law enforcement had a super plan in place and their high profile presence was a major deterent. It is truly an honor to have served on a mission for SSGT. Robb L. Rolfing, truly a special forces hero who served on so many missions before today, his final one. Thank you SSGT. Rolfing.

I am truly saddened at the loss of another American Hero. I had the priviledge of training with an "A"Team from the 10th Special Forces Group way back in '81. I spent over a month living under my poncho "hootch" with them learning the "tools of the trade". I have never had a more memorable experience of this great group of dedicated Hero's. The 10th has a great history and I am sure that SSgt Rolfing lived up to and exceeded what was expected of him. A Hero of his caliber will be missed. May his family be consoled knowing that the World is a better place because of him. God Bless SSgt Rolfing and his family.

Posted for: The ever so "STEALTH" Ancient1 ~ Ancient1 sends his condolences and prayers to the family of this brave hero, his family and friends. As he arrived at the Welcome Center in South Dakota he noticed the flag at half staff. He inquired inside and learned of the loss of one of our hereo's and immediately asked where the funeral was being held. He then headed to Sioux Falls. He wanted all of you to know what a fantastic job you all did. He apologizes that he didn't have a chance to talk to anyone, that he was heading out on the road again. God's Blessings on this great warriors family~ The Ancient1

SSGT Rofling, thankyou for your service. I didn't know it was possible to feel so proud and so humble at the same time. The Memorial Service brought these conflicting feelings out in me. Thankyou PGR for honoring one of Sioux Falls Finest. Proud to be from the same town as SSGT Rofling, humbled by his service. Thankyou

It was a humble privilege to be able to stand watch during the funeral and interment services for SSgt. Rolfing, and to also be part of the group escorting his family from the airport to the funeral home. To see the military honor guard practicing to make sure they did everything "just right," both at the escort and the funeral, gave me even more appreciation as to how seriously they take their duties of bringing home fallen comrades with dignity, honor, and respect.

Here is a picture file of the PGR's participation in the escort and funeral.
