Tonight PGR of GA honored Cpl. Quill at a visitation and memorial in his home state of Georgia. A ceremony dedicated to the memory of Richey, and a chance for the family to recieve friends. We, 35 strong, provided a flag line at the entrance to the Church for recieving the family and friends. Tonights mission was special. We were given the chanced to Honor on of America's Hero's. His friends and family spoke very highly of him. I know he will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Thanks to the Calvary Assembly of God Church and members for allowing us this great pleasure. Thanks to the family and friends for the kind words. WE WERE HONORED TO BE INVITED. To the new and current members of the PGR, thanks for braving the cold to honor this young Hero.

Drew,
Thank you for your dedication and determination. Thanks to all the patriots who were able to be there tonight to show a heartbroken family that we care. That America cares and that they are not alone.

Take care of our young warrior, Tennessee.

The community and love inside of the Church was truly a testament to the faith of the friends and family. It was my honor to meet the family of Cpl Quinn and be able to stand in his honor; the beautiful celebration of his life will allow me to carry his memory with me forever.

Go with God, Richey; if it's not too much trouble, I'd like you to reserve a place in Heaven near to you and your mother for me.

Having stayed for the memorial service for this wonderful young hero, I can only pray that I am as blessed to have so many friends and such an incredible family, surrounding eachother as they did tonight. What an beautiful service, from everyone that spoke, to the video of his life, and to his beautiful sister, that song you wrote and sang for your brother will long live in my memory. You have a wonderful voice. Richey, your family and friends loved you big, and bigger than that, your life served so many people.
Stand down Soldier, you will never be forgotten. Take care of this family for us, Tennessee, they really need you. Stand proud and rumble loud!

I know this may come as a shock, but not quite sure what to say. I thank all those who stood tonight to honor Cpl Quill. We were invited to attend the service. Why I do this to myself, I don't know. But I wanted to hear about Richey. To learn about the person he was. To understand why several hundred attended this memorial. As usual, I was blown away with the love and caring the friends and community extended to the Quill Family. Not to mention leaving there admiring our hero for the man he grew to be. Thank you Quill Family for allowing us to attend and honor Richey.

GA Brothers and Sisters,
We have stood together in missions recently, and even though we may not stand together at the same time, we will honor this young Hero.

To my TN Brothers and Sisters,
The family is due home tomorrow. We should have final details on their wishes then. As soon as it's available, I will have it posted.

To the Quill Family,
May the Lord keep you safe on your journey back to TN. Know you have our prayers to ease your pain and sorrow.

My heart swells with pride for this young man. What a life he must have had to have so many that loved and respected him and who will miss him, he was obviously a very special person. I was so blessed to have the opportunity to stand in honor of Richey Quill today and although I never knew him, I will miss him.  Take care of this family Tennessee, as I know you will, they are some of America's finest.

It's never easy to put into words the emotions of honoring one of our nation's heros. Cpl. Richard Quill (Richey) was an amazing young man. Watching the numbers of people who came to say goodbye and listenning to the things that were said made you realize just how much the word has lost. I will never forget the sacrifices that are made by heros like Richey and his family so that my children can live free. I say "my children" because it is personal. Cpl. Quill's sacrifice was for me and my family. He stood in harms way for our way of life and my children will never forget that their freedom isn't free.

Thank you Cpl. Quill for caring enough about people you never met to stand for our freedom. To the family and friends of Cpl. Quill may God Bless and comfort you. 'Richey" is now in that special place God has set asside for those who serve.

It was a deep honor to stand with all of you last night honoring Cpl. Quill.  As a new member and this being my first mission, I was in awe of the number of family and friends that came to honor him at the church.  He was the true American hero; Tennessee will take good care of him and his family, I am certain of that.
