I know that Explosive Ordinance Detection is a very highly technical field and SrA Miller had chosen a difficult task.  This article testifies to his character:

My family salutes you, -- we are in the present of greatness. While you stood guard we have slept under the very blanket of freedom you have provided. Thank you.

To look in the eyes of those who have lost their loved ones who have given their lives for this country and thank them from the bottom of my heart is one of the greatest honors I have ever had.

God bless this family and give them comfort and peace!

Danny, Robin and the entire extended Miller family,

All of you are in my thoughts and prayers right now. May you find comfort in the love which surrounds you at this very difficult time. May you always cherish the memories of young Dan and the way he embraced life, loved his family and sacrificed for his country. Sandy and Ginny, consider yourselves hugged and give that little brother of yours a big hug for me. I'm sorry I can't be there myself. I know you'll all help each other get through this. God bless you all.
