I would just like to take a moment to thank each and everyone of you for all your support and prayers through this very difficult time. I look forward to your support this friday and saturday. I don't know how to put into words what this means to myself as well as all the other family members and friends. I'm sure Ryan is looking down on us all with that wonderful smile of his. He is a great son, friend to all, and a soldier who stood tall for what he as well as myself firmly believe in. I am so proud of him . I will continue my prayer's and support for each and everyone of our men and women who are still fighting the fight . may God bless you all. Dennis J. Buckley

Recieved a call from our son in Falujah, this afternoon. He knew of Cpl. Buckley's sacrifice and said his buddy there, a Sgt. in USMC, was a friend of Buckley. He asked if we were riding on this one, and told him yes. He said thanks, and will let his buddy know, and it will mean a lot to him, he said.

Floyd Fan- will meet you at the QT in Bethalto.

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been so kind and thoughtful on this site over the last few days.  My appreciation can't be expressed into words and I look forward to hopefully being able to meet a few of you on Saturday in Hillsboro at my Godson's, Ryan Buckley's services.  I salute all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart at what you are doing for our men & women that serve and our country.  God bless each and everyone of you.

I have prayed for the family of Cpl. Buckley today.  My prayer has been that God will give you the strength, comfort, and warmth through the grief period of losing a son, an American Patriot.  May you feel His presence through the next few days, weeks and months ahead.  My church family and myself will keep you in our prayers as another Hero has fallen.  God Bless you and your family and may God's face smile upon you.

My wife and I will be honored to ride for your son Cpl. Buckley.  Riding from Lewistown, IL.

Revised schedule for departure from Northwest corner of Ill. Leaving home at 5:00am to meet at the BP truck stop in Dixon, Il at 5:30 if anyone wants to join there. On the road shortly headed out on I88 to I39 to I55 to the Raymond exit #63 and down 127 to 16 to Hillsboro. Probably will be going through Springfield later than that group's departure. Rod, for your wife, sunscreen.  Bring water bottles,  respect, and honor for a soldier who has given his freedom so that we may be free.  No negative statements against any other groups are necessary.  Introduce yourself, you will meet some absolutely wonderful folks there from all ways and means of life.
