| Paul Anthony Beyer was great American hero, anybody would be lucky to be half the patriot that Paul was. Your presence at the funeral was more than appreciated and Paul would have been estatic to see the turn out. Paul Beyer was a great friend and I was more than honored to be one of the paulbearers at the funeral, after seeing this event I myself joined the Patriot Guard Riders and will hope to see many of you on future rides to help support our fallen American HEROES!!! |

See new mission thread for Sebeka, Minn. funeral/burial info. Also, ND members, check your E mail. I would like to thank Lars for his leadership for the escort mission last Fri. nite. All went well, and the participation from all riders, as well as the work done by Lars is greatly appreciated. Regarding the memorial service in Jamestown yesterday: Thanks to Shelli and all who participated. Also, thanks go out to the city of Jamestown, the merchants who were so kind in their contributions of food, water, and space to stage. Thanks to the Jamestown PD,ND Highway Patrol, Stutsman County Sheriff's Dept., and even the Game and Fish, who had at least one officer at the memorial service, apparently for varmint control! I thought the corral was a nice fit! All of the PGR members and supporting riders that showed up- Your behavior was stellar, as I have come to expect. Those who were there, know how we were getting baited, and nobody broke ranks or protocol. I believe we made a strong showing considering the mission came in the middle of the long holiday weekend. I am extremely proud of all of you, and value my time spent with you very highly! It takes some very sturdy and dedicated personalities, with a focus on honoring our fallen-and only on that, to do what you all do so very well! Believe me, I have never been prouder, in all my life, to claim my association with a group of people such as you. I spoke with a number of family and friends after the service. I heard nothing other than thanks and appreciation for our presence and participation. Stand tall and walk proudly, because you have earned that right!
May God open his loving arms to Paul, and may he watch over his family and friends and comfort them in their loss.

I would like to thank everyone who participated in this mission. I think we must've really made an impression on the family, for them to ask for us to come to the funeral as well. I think it really went well, and we had a lot of flags flying. Let's remember to thank all of the local merchants for their donations of food and drink for the staging area.

| I'd like to thank Rick Beyer, Paul's uncle. When he said he could only "offer chow on me whenever we meet" in regards to PGR, he was today at the funeral and internment in Sebeka true to his word. 5 of us went to the local cafe for a bite to eat, and in comes Rick, double parked in the street, to pay for our meals. Rick - all I can say is that it truly was and is our honor to pay respects to one of our fallen and our hero. Rest assured that you and your family are in many people's thoughts and prayers. |
