How are you tracking the flight of Sergent Garcia? Our son Lucas Gonzales is escorting him on the plane and we have not heard anything as Lucas was not even sure.We are scheduled to be in Long beach but have heard no one will be allowed to visit unless you are family. We rae not even allowed since we are not immediate family. I think there is confusion as to what the Army is doing right now. Any input or help would be nice.

We will be meeting Sgt. Garcia's plane at AirFlight when he comes in and escorting him to the mortuary. Folks will start arriving at AirFlight at about 10am. I'm sure you are more than welcome there. Hope that helps.

As far as who is allowed/invited and who is not I don't have a direct answer for you there.
My biggest concern as an employee of AirFlite is the media -- as to whether or not the family wants them there or not. Now, as far as family, friends, guard riders, etc. -- that's up those involved (i.e. immediate family) It is my opinion that since it is your son who is escorting SGT Garcia, that you have every right to be there [here] and my eyes you're more than welcome at AirFlite. As a matter of fact if you should have any difficulty getting in (which you shouldn't), have security at our front gate ask for me.
With regards flight tracking. We [AirFlite] have our own software that tracks all flight operations in and out of Long Beach airport, with exception of the military. Kallita is a civilian charter outfit out of Michigan, contracted by military, and as such we able to track their aircraft as well.
Hope, this answers your question.

Sincerely,
Clint Vallee
