PO1 Ross L. Toles III earned my respect and gratitude when he volunteered to serve our country. His efforts to make the world a safer place will be remembered with honor and appreciation by this American family.

My sincere condolences to the family and friends. You are in my prayers during this time of sorrow.

On behalf of April Toles, The family, friends, brothers and sisters and myself I want to extend a sincere thank you for standing in honor for PO1 Ross L. Toles III “Bulldog”. So many people expressed the same feelings as I did about the PGR being there for Ross. I can not begin to explain this in words alone. I know that my brother Bulldog is very thankful for you standing in honor of him but also for the support you gave to all of us by being there. It was also expressed how professional all of the PGR members are. It was an honor to be able to shake each and every one of your hands yesterday. I hope and pray that you will not be needed again, but it is good to know that the PGR is there if needed. May God bless each and every one of you and your families. Have a safe and great riding season.

Mission Complete

Thank you to the family of Petty Officer First Class Ross L. Toles III for inviting the Patriot Guard to stand in his Honor and to pay our Respects. Thank you Freedom for your communication with April and keeping us posted. Thank you to my Brother Deputy Dawg for everything. We received many Thanks from the good people at St Paul’s Lutheran Church and I was told to pass them along to all the Patriot Guard Riders for the way they “stood so respectful” for Ross. Chaplin Audie, thank you for joining us and leading us in the prayer.
Thank you for the members who brought extra water, it was very much needed and appreciated. Judy, thanks for bringing the homemade cinnamon rolls, they were awesome. Ralph, and Barb, thank you for the use of your flags, we really appreciate it. We only had one injury, Jers cut his hand taking apart a flag. Thank you for those who took part in the Cemetery Flag Line, again I thank Deputy Dawg for leading the group. Thank you for staying to help take down the flags and roll them up. Thank you, GadgetGal and Capt. Chrome, for taking the photos and posting them for us to share.
Thank you to all the members who came out and stood in the sweltering sun for Ross. We had many new members attend their first mission, thank you for joining us on the flag line. It is the most important job we have. Young and old, newbie’s and old-timers’, Gold Star parents, Blue Star families, that is what makes our PGR family so great.

To the Toles family- I want to express my deepest sympathy for this time of great pain. I also want to express my gratitude for the service to this country of PO1 Toles. I am a former Seabee, and even though we live nearby, we have never met. My heart aches for the cost freedom has placed on your family, and you will be in my prayers. May God welcome Po1 Toles into Heavens gate.

It has been almost a year my friend....
My friend.... My Brother....
I miss you so....
The days go buy and I see all that you cannot see anymore...
I remember the days when you smiled, laughed, and enjoyed all life offered
You were a respected father, husband, and a special friend to me.
I look at pictures now and the tears fall as I wish you were here...
I will watch your children grow up and your wife who loves you so much grow old...
I will see the days come and the days go but always remember the times we had as brothers even though they were cut too short...
If there was any way to bring you back I would...
I miss you Ross... I have been blessed with friends in my life but very few...
You were a true friend and I will always have the highest respect for you ...
You did it right...!!!! not many men have....
I will never understand why the lord took you...
Tears and sorrow will always be with me.
There is an empty place in my heart and a void in my life now that you are gone.
I Love you bro.....
Rest now, I will see you again soon my brother......
